Hi everyone !
We got back - safe and sound - to civilization (Dempster Highway) at about 3.30 pm on the 21st of March, after a long last beautiful pulling-our-sleds-over-22km day. And to Dawson City shortly after that. Happy, relieved, lost and sad. A mixture of feelings and new sensations crashing on us all at once - like flies on a windshield.
Thanks for following our trip, for sympathising with our joys and sufferings, wonder and solitude. It has been a great and interesting trip for sure ! Thanks to my father for his amazing follow-up. And thanks very much to those who helped us realize this, sponsors and sourdough friends. Considering the temperatures, those calories were very welcome ;-)
We're thinking about the second part of the trip now, which will very likely be quite different from the original plan. I (Gilles) will try to post some news & pictures shortly, but most of it will come at the very end of the trip. Somewhere in April, that is.
May you enjoy this Spring as much as we will !
Greetings from Dawson City,
Gilles & Antoine
